The BrooklynRoseStrong 5K returned to Lakefront Park for the second year in a row, and once again our community showed up in the most beautiful way.
Together, we gathered to raise awareness for one of the deadliest pediatric brain tumors, DIPG, and to honor the life and memory of our sweet Brooklyn. The day was filled with music, raffle prizes, and so many smiling faces — plus a few unforgettable moments, including a giraffe mascot and Swish from the Osceola Magic coming back for year two to race in our mascot dash.
There was laughter, hugs, happy tears, and quiet moments of remembrance. It was everything this day is meant to be — love, community, and hope all in one place.
We are so proud of our community for coming together to support not only Brooklyn’s memory, but every child we’ve lost and every family still fighting.
Because of you, we raised over $15,000 for DIPG research and awareness.
Thank you to every sponsor, volunteer, and family who helped us surpass last year’s goal. Your support means more than we can ever fully put into words.
We can’t wait to gather again in 2026.
